For the past 17 years, our 1-hour back class has been enthusiastically attended by 200 students weekly at our local centers and internationally. The instruction provided parallels that of an in-person class experience.
During the session, participants lie on the floor to engage in five progressive core practices aimed at strengthening the abdominal muscles. The routine includes gentle stretches for the hamstrings, quadriceps, adductors, and psoas, exploration of hip range of motion, spinal rotations, and extensions. Many students report significant relief from chronic pain and discomfort as they finish the session with enhanced space and support in their backs.
